Jetpacks Are Here To Stay
07/15/2021
Jetpacks are no longer a thing of science fiction, but a thing of science fact. Ellen Mollusk announced a new line of propulsion vehicles today, Jetpacks light enough to be worn like backpacks, with enough power to lift 350 pounds for up to 6 hours of flight time.
Mollusk reports that the Jetpacks took approximately 13 years to develop and around $13 billion. "It's well worth it," she said, "flight should be accessible to everyone."
The Jetpacks start at a selling price of $15,000 and require a training course from the manufacturer. The course lasts 20 hours and can easily be completed in 3 days. Depending on your location a permit may also be required to operate a Jetpack.
